Mathematix has been involved in the culture of Electronic music since 1992. Having grown up in Florida and born in Tampa he was surrounded by it all the time. There was always an event or club open every night of the week and he was a very dedicated B-boy, and fan of the music, dancing and partying the nights away. Math was also always very up to date in the music aspect of things. He started adding vinyl to his collection at the age of 12. At the age of 15 he grabbed his first set of turntables. After just a couple years of practice and knowing as many people in the buisiness that he did from frequenting the clubs and raves for so long. He was soon playing in slots along side some of the biggest names in the scene, like: Huda Hudia, Tony Faline, ATB, Spacekid, Craze, John Digweed, Monk, Spacemen, Icey, Keoki, Charles Feelgood, Sandra Collins, Kimball Collins, Scott Henry, and the list goes on and on.

He also spent alot of time in, and was a resident of, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Denver. At the age of 19 in Denver is where he founded and established his own event production company Proper Productions and began throwing huge, full scale, events . He has produced many professional top-notch events: With talent such as: DJ Craze, Huda Hudia, Spacemen, Kelly Reverb, Dazee(UK)& MC Chickaboo(UK), Friction and Spice, Funklab, Hipp-E, DJ Hardware, just to name a few...Noteable events were: (Colorado)- "Skillz", "Forbidden Fantasy", "Ungawah", "Transformed", "Out of this world", (Florida)- "Breaks are delicious", "Viscious Funk", "Lumia".

Math and his wife/counterpart Drea have also been hard at work on their new label Etcetera Technologies and their side project "Equation", the producing/DJ duo which they hope to eventually evolve into a Live, Interactive, music group/Live PA. They are hard at work on material to be released on their label Etcetera Technologies in 2005!

When he's not DJing, producing events, or working with Drea, he spends his spare time in the studio working on his original music, remixing, and tuning up his vocal skills on the microphone, as he is also a very active MC =(MC MTHMTX).
He was the MC for all of his events that he produced as Proper Productions, and was also the MC for dozens of big named artists. Math also used to be the lead singer of a local rock band back in Georgia....he is a very well rounded vocalist......whether he is MCing an EDM event, or putting vocals on an original track, or singing rock music, he will always love using his voice as an instrument and a very distinctive way for expessing himself.

If your a DJ, you may even be familiar with his 12" indie white label releases: "Divided by the Dark", or "Multiply your mind", and many other indie white labels and exclusive remixes that he loves to play when he's tearin' up the turntables.

He has been well traveled in his time as a DJ/MC and would love to come to a city near you and share his style of Electronica with the masses in your local scene. Whether he is MCing on the mic or DJing on the ones and twos, he is sure to put all he has into his effort to deliver a top-notch performance.

His styles are wide ranging from, Progressive Breakbeats, to even Hip Hop, and almost everything in between, and you may also catch him cuttin and scratchin his way threw a set. He is best known for however, his high energy sets of Drum and Bass, Progressive Breaks/Trance, UKGarage/2step, and House. So basicly, he is a very diverse DJ.
