In 1999 Da Lukas started to produce singles and remixes for labels such as (Oxyd, Sound Division, Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Defected, One Little Indian, Kontor and more). His hit EP “People are still having Sex”, has been massively hammered and charted by Djs such as Carl Cox, Jamie Jay, Anthony Pappa, Ralph Falcon and featured by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and John Didweed’s Transition on Kiss 100.
BEEF records is happy to present this Italian talent with two impressive tracks. Both tracks captivate with hypnotic techno beats and excellent delayed effects. "Obsession" is a dance floor filler with a powerful house oriented groove that is truly simple but totally effective for almost any Dj set. "Sparselight " starts with a catchy but loose techno groove, that slowly evolves into real dark atmospheric delay madness.
Shades of Gray and Sebastian Bayne remixes bring real diversity to this EP. Sebastian Bayne’s interpretation is diving into deep waters of hypnotic techno and Shades of Gray took Obsession to another level with a funky bass line and mental atmospheres.
Wally Lopez, Olivier Giacomotto, Steve Porter, are a few of the artists released on the Seven Limited Records imprint. Based out of NYC, 7LTD's philosophy regarding its catalog is to feature relevant artists with a quality sound, solid track record and most importantly, artists we like and respect ourselves.
2009 promises to be another great year with iPhone (Tap Tap Revenge) and NOKIA licenses already locked in, and more highly regarded talent to be added to the roster including Dr. Kucho, Gaby Dershin, & Medway among others. Not to mention Dr. Kucho's remix of 'El Mariachi' garnered a Top 14 spot on Beatport's Top 100, & has already been licensed to several global compilations.
