Corrupted Records was Established in January 2005 by DJ and producer Steve Owen. The label has been set up as a digital download label specialising in the deep, darker and underground side of house music, covering music genres from minimal techno, tech house, techno, electro and progressive house, with a view to release vinyl as demand grows. The fore front of the label is to produce, master and release some of the cutting edge sounds around today on any international dance floor.

The label is made up of two section Corrupted Records which is the production side of the business and Corruption which is the event side of the business. Corruption has been running since early 2002 in venues across the UK, from Maidstone, London, Stoke-on-Trent to Manchester and internationally in places such as Morocco, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

In 2007 the label prepares to release it first tracks from artist such as Steve Owen, Mindform, High Torque, Groove Federation and Wa Canessait! The relationship between Steve Owen & Phil Caine aka Mindform has grown into the position that Phil Caine has joined the label as part owner, bringing in the studio, production and mastering techniques and experience that is required by any good professional label, with the addition of a full professional recording studio based in the Lake District.

In 2008 only good things can happen for Corrupted Records as the label progresses forward with new release from major players in the dance music industry......

  Time for another instalment from Corrupted Records. This month we see the release from a new artist “Dave James” on Corrupted Records. Dave has been doing well over the past 12 months with regular slots for Product @ Stealth in Nottingham, along with his current tracks already out across the globe. This release is a solid Minimal Techno release, with two outstanding remixes. one of the remixes comes from Italy’s Andrea Mocce, at only 18 this guy has been ripping up Italian dance floors for about 3 years now, and the other remix from Corrupted’s faithful Mindform, with a solid techno track with lots of percussion and FX.

"The Andrea Mocce remix is the best of the bunch here, with a solid track with good production that will mae a body sway and head bob. I enjoy the use of reverb adn delay in this track to relay depth of sound. The orignal mix has some unpredictable parts that I really like. Almost a mixture of dub step then back to the meat and potatoes. The Mindform remix has some good use of filters in it. The clip for this track has the best use of "crazy" pitching of the three." - 3.5 / 5
