Elektrax Recordings (Sydney, Australia)
elektraxrecordings.com
Elektrax Recordings was founded in the year of 2001 in Sydney, Australia, by DJ and producer DJ Hi-Shock. The first vinyl release "Nagano Trax vol.1" was pressed and distributed throughout Europe via Soundbase, Germany. The label was then re-started digitally in 2005 with some limited re-releases of still fresh sounding productions from the late 90's and introducing latest material from international talents.

These days Elektrax is 80% digital and 20% conventional record label focusing on releasing mainly Deep, Minimal and Hard Techno, Dark Progressive, Psy Tekkno and Hard Trance.

With releases and remixes from new and established producers such as Zen Paradox, Secret Surfer, Sonic Voyagers, Tr-Storm, FSOM, Psi Room, Thomas P. Heckmann, and head-honcho DJ Hi-Shock, the label has already built up a solid identity and is gaining support from many top DJs worldwide.

"Massive trance release, great production!"
- Deep Night (Hypnotic Room, Australia)

"Driving Progressive and Psy Trance release with a feel reminiscent of early Juno Reactor or Astral Projection."
- Dale Baldwin (Canberra, Australia)

"Very solid and progressive tracks with a nice touch of Goa Trance"
- DJ Hi-Shock (Sydney, Australia)

"The first track here - the original mix of "Blinkless" - is classic trance, with an ethereal quality and some gorgeous acid coming in later in the track. But the standout for me is the Topo & LMK remix, which goes more relentless tech-style. Wonderful."
- Andrez Bergen (Little Nobody / Schlock Tactile)

"Pretty cool"
- D-Unity

"The remix is good"
- Constantin K

"Good energetic track"
- d-phrag

"Really nice remix. I like a lot the vocals the percussions and of course the arrangement."
- AndrewS

"its really a great job"
- Fede Monachesi

"Very good remix, full support!"
- Frangellico

"Very good remix from Topo & LMK"
- Minoru Hirata

"I've been listening to "Blinkless" and love these things about it: great build up intro, love the eastern melody and haunting vocals in the first verse, amazing dreamy breakdown (string synths?) and rythmic phrases that parallel the whole composition, they almost sound like a water drums leading to the outro."
- Frederick Deio
