NSM004 Anthony Ross feat. Leyla - Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (May 20th, 2008)
Release Date: May 20th, 2008
» User Rating: 4.4/5
» Promo Pool: 4.5/5
» Top Rank: Reached #2 on May 22nd, 2008
Anthony Ross' recent remix of Utah Saints (w/ J Scott G) is still riding high on the charts, and with releases and remixes lined up for Ministry of Sound and Little Mountain, and a residency for Giant in San Diego, things are looking up for this talented young producer/DJ. His original instrumental mix of "Mistakes Aren't Forgotten", layers warm chords and melodies, over a funky, progressive bassline and shuffly house beats.
We're very pleased to have a remix from one of our favorite producers at the moment, our funky neighbor to the North in Vancouver, Joel Armstrong, whose sparse, funky house remix capitalizes on the progressive qualities of the original, with a tech house groove. Callum B from the UK makes his debut with Nightshade, with an incredible remix. Peak time, a great twist on the original melodic progression, with more of an electro-progressive feel in the style of Angello & Ingrosso, or Eric Prydz. Nosmo & Kris B turn out a funky techy dub witha funky house bassline and cool vocal chops, and a vocal mix, with a beautiful, catchy vocoded vocal hook.

1. Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (original instrumental)
2. Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (Joel Armstrong remix)
3.. Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (Nosmo v Kris B vocal mix)
4. Mistakes Aren't Forgotten (Callum B remix)
