Logiztik Sounds, Nosmo v Kris B, Mike Kiraly, Kabuto & Koji, M&D Substance & Jairus Miller all have remixes on one of our strongest releases to date.
Joel Armstrong has been bending the rules, making progressive, techno and house all live in harmony, whether they like it or not (and apparently, they like it). The original of 'El Squelcho' features big techy beats and bass, organ stabs, big dynamics, energy & tech funk throughout. A man responsible for many recent excellent productions and remixes, and recent Emfire contest winner, Logiztik Sounds gave us a tight techy bass groove, big dancefloor beats and a driving techno chord approach with huge dynamics through the break. Mike Kiraly's radio science dub – straight for the dancefloor, simple, tight, pumpin and very dynamic. The Nosmo v Kris B mix is a more laid back melodic approach, with a pumpin house feel out of the break. Arpeggios, funky bass, plucks and shuffly beats. M&D Substance gave us a spooky progressive mix, dancey beats, driving bass and a haunting lead line. Kabuto, Koji & Stephan come together like a stoned Voltron to form 'The Tokes', their debut remix together is an awesome minimal/progressive (I realize it's an oxymoron) effort, highlighting the original melodies over sparse percussion and atmosphere. Jairus Miller created a futuristic progressive mix, funky, atmospheric and very cool.

"Great production quality here, hard to pick a favorite, but would have to be original as defined, well produced signature and elements, the remixes don't do it much justice except for The Tokes mix. going deep..." - 3.0 / 5
Soren LaRue (USA)
"I would have to pick the Mike Kiraly's radio science dub as my top pick on this one, shortly followed by or equal to the original mix. Most of the mixes seem to have a hint of lounge feel to them. Decent release" - 3.5 / 5
