Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.

The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica. Visit ProtonRadio.com for the official Proton Music website with detailed information on all our releases and extended previews of all our tracks.

Proton Music releases biweekly on Beatport, iTunes, and other digital retailers.

Reviewed:

Leaving sounds of electro and something…(something between progressive trance, deep house, and house) everywhere he goes Deerk Hollaender has done it again with another great release. His latest release titled “Roots & Leaves Remixes” on Proton Records is a great example of his unique style. With the overall sound of the release incorporating electro, deep house, house and prog trance, Deerk definitely creates a unique sound. Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy (Paul Keeley Remix) – Has great.... 4.5/5 [Adam G]
