The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home. The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica.   A collaboration between Pole Folder and Shelley Harland had my attention at the credit so Proton has done well to secure such a good release. Opening with "Radio 101" Franceaco Pico Remix this covers all the elements you would expect from a classic prog number and with such depth. There is a nice drive and shuffle about this mix too with an air of ambience too, real melodic and the production is polished to say the least.
