Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.
The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica. Visit ProtonRadio.com for the official Proton Music website with detailed information on all our releases and extended previews of all our tracks.
Proton Music releases biweekly on Beatport, iTunes, and other digital retailers.

I'm always on the lookout for something that little bit different so I was delighted to stumble across this EP from Proton Music. Soliquid's Kabal EP is a melodic techno record that screams quality from the moment you hit play.
The title track sets the mood with some astonishing production and beat programming, its nice to be challenged by a track and wonder how it was created. The choice of sounds and riffs are excellent and all build to an intense and trancy break down before kicking back.... 5/5 [Pete Lunn]
