Proton Music(Los Angeles, Calfornia, United States) protonradio.com
Proton Music was founded in April of 2005 by Proton Radio director and Particles host Jason Wohlstadter (aka Jay Epoch). The inspiration for the label came from it's first release, "Fingerpaint" by Digital Witchcraft, which at the time was having trouble finding a home.
The label aims to capture the variety of genres played on Proton Radio while keeping true to Jay Epoch's musical taste: atmospheric and melodic electronica. Visit ProtonRadio.com for the official Proton Music website with detailed information on all our releases and extended previews of all our tracks.
Proton Music releases biweekly on Beatport, iTunes, and other digital retailers.

Moonbeam - Nature [PROTON0072] (Nov 22nd, 2008)
Release Date: Nov 22nd, 2008
Styles » Progressive / Techno
» User Rating: 4.00 / 5
In the digital era of thousands of new producers, Moonbeam is one of the few to break out and become a household name in the scene. This Russian duo, in addition to running their own music label and radio show, have had their music appear on some of the biggest trance & techno labels to the most respected underground & indie labels. Now we present their latest progressive/techno single: "Nature".
Some of Proton's best & brightest are enlisted in remix duty. Joel Armstrong makes a triumphant return with an intricate, glitchy and melodic techno remix. The Beatport preview doesn't do this one justice-- the riffs after the breakdown are fantastic!
Kosmas Epsilon also returns after a long hiatus from the label with an acidic genre blending remix. It's all about the bassline in this one! Ryan Davis has two interpretations here, this time something a bit different & mellow but still great techno. Lastly, Proton new comer Garnica has a hypnotic interpretation that fans of his recent Proton EP should really enjoy.
"Nature" is out now exclusively at Beatport on Proton Music.
Wally Lopez, Olivier Giacomotto, Steve Porter, are a few of the artists released on the Seven Limited Records imprint. Based out of NYC, 7LTD's philosophy regarding its catalog is to feature relevant artists with a quality sound, solid track record and most importantly, artists we like and respect ourselves.
2009 promises to be another great year with iPhone (Tap Tap Revenge) and NOKIA licenses already locked in, and more highly regarded talent to be added to the roster including Dr. Kucho, Gaby Dershin, & Medway among others. Not to mention Dr. Kucho's remix of 'El Mariachi' garnered a Top 14 spot on Beatport's Top 100, & has already been licensed to several global compilations.
One promise for our listeners, we'll continue to release only what we deem to be top notch, funkdafied productions for the floor.
