.::Release Information::.
Following up on their most recent remix project, I LOVE BUDAPEST... out on Ready Mix, Faces are back with their own EP, a lush summer tune conveniently entitled `After the Rain`.
Hungary's Laszlo Csak and Gyorgy Meszaros, who were first introduced as remix artists on Ready Mix Records, now return as the featured artists on this release. With tracks in circulation on the up and coming Hungarian Soundtribe Muzik, No Smoking Records, as well as on Resurgent Records; Faces have solidified their ability to relentlessly create impressive music.
Once again they present a knock out production, rich in emotion and melody, accompanied by vocal and instrumental interludes with a hint of eastern flavor. Warm synths topped with scaling musical droplets round off the carefully sequenced layers in a tight and solid package that satiates the musical senses.
On the remix duties, another Hungarian duo step to the plate and turn out a musical revelation. Levente Szabo and Tamas Jankovich teamed up at the start of 2007 to form Marrakech and have rapidly found a niche for themselves hailing support from a host of established artists in the past year such as Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Andy Moor & Dj Tarkan. They have also been signed to Feralcode and Proton Music.
Marrakech produce a remix that is pumping and entertaining. Striking the perfect balance between a heightened level of energy and the more subdued original, they fuse slamming beats, original guitar samples and other elements to build a lyrical bounce that is infectious.
Once again, Ready Mix Records is thrilled to present Hungary' s finest on this release.
