Starlight Music (Milan, Italy)

Starlight Music was born in 2005 from the idea of Luca Ontino to create a production team as seen on the international circuit. In the 2 years that the production team has been up and running, we have received astonishing achievements. More than 50 worldwide exclusive licences were realized, many projects were licenced from the major labels and got great feedback both in the clubs and radios. Our project Holly Dolly (as a production team), in 2007 was a worldwide hit and was even awarded a silver record in France with more than 140,000 copies sold. We climbed the European Tv Chart (MTV , M6, ALL MUSIC, VIVA...). Over the past years, many young producers have joined our production team and have been given the opportunity to grow. From this experience and hard work they are now known internationally. 2008 for Starlight Music has seen new studios and offices in the south of Milan and has also become a record company. New partnerships have also been born, for example with HENGE MUSIC who are handling the publishing and immediately they were able to provide one of our new projects as the synchronization for the latest television advertisement for WIND Italy (Mobile Phone Company). Then with Motivo Srl a new collaboration is rising. It will be on club music. In our opinion they are leaders in club world (They signed Tom Novy, Gianluca Motta, Michael Gray...and other big artists). We have just begun to produce our first Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Pop, Acoustic projects… and we are starting to work with new artists. Starlight Music’s target is to provide quality music and great artists.

Mooka/X-tence is a progressive trance/ house project production team, begun by Ilich Molin, Wim Broersma and Francesco D'Este in 2006.
The team started with the release of the Amuka's "I Want More" X-Tence trance remix, on Kult Records.
The single was really successful and reached the #1 in the Billboard chart "Hot Dance Club Play". In 2007 they released a remix for Amuka's "My Man" for Amuka Music LLC. The single was great and they re-entered the Billboard's "Hot Dance Club Play" , reaching the #4. In 2008 they released a remix for israelian house producers Sharp & Smooth's track "Thriller", on Canadian TigerEye label.

Reviewed:

X-Tense Rmx -- High energy kicks and bass build into a pretty tranceish peak. Nice deep bass grooving with the mid pads and the automating high string melody. It gets really big in the high range synth pads and strings at the end, definitely a lot of energy behind this mix. Very peak hour and heavy on the top end layers. Second Life Mix -- Deep brooding bassline gives is a warm feel, then the mid range melody works its way up into a very dynamic mix of stabbs synts and melodies.
