Tomato Jaws - Too ordinary (remixes) (Really Really Big Records)
Release Date: October 30th, 2007
Reviewed: 7/10
User Rating: 5.0/5

Out now on Really Really Big Records, Tomato Jaws "Too Ordinary" gets a remix treatment from top Ukrainian producers Alexander Kostruba,Synthetic Sound System and Key 900.

During the last six years they were composing and performing their own music in different styles, varying from jungle, to gentle trip-hop and ambient. Now Tomato Jaws specializes mostly writing deep-tech-house styled music, playing live sets using exceptionally their own material. With an elegant female vocal, live flute samples and perfect combination of melodious rhythms the remixers had a rich ground to do their thing.

With an attention to details, high sound saturation and a massive beat line Alexander Kostruba's makes his contribution. The sound is strictly deep-progressive with a peak moment that does some real damage.

Synthetic Sound System with a 'low nicotine mix' show a more sentimental mood, combining tech, minimal and deep house elements. Playing with the title their other version 'high nicotine mix' expresses much more passion with a dreamy melody line as the original, but cheekier with tech/electro orientation.

Key 900 keeps the sunny atmosphere to the max with drop by drop features, from deep, electro, old-school house, flavored with a phat bass line.

The Tomato Jaws Project consists of three persons, and composer Alex Junior is also the owner of Ukrainian electronic label Innertion.
