This is not a new release but it is never too late to review anything. Reviewers should keep that in mind!
The Original is an epic tech/prog track with heady synths and rolling big trance lines circa 2004 with big cheese or miami beach night written all over it. What saves this track from completely going into the bin is the quality remixers doing this track some recycling duty.
The Benz & MD remix bring it back and update just slightly enough, to showcase their own known epic prog style and make it lay back just enough to fit into todays heady prog.
The Federico Epic remix draws out the rhythm even more making a more laid back prog, keeping those trancy synth lines mostly at bay. Making this harmonic enough to flow with and on top of other tracks for a clever DJ to consider.
The Derek Howell remix adds and electro edge but keeping the heady synthy lines makes this track a complex layered eq nightmare. could fit in certain sets but being as it is so complex and dynamic that it would be hard to find anything to mix on top.
Overall I appreciate the work done by the quality remixers, and they do give this original track some major justice and updates from it's epic prog days. It just goes to show that picking the original is just as important as picking the remixers.
