Pointech - Strong mind
(Progressive Grooves)
Release Date: November 11th, 2007

A well defined release is key to success. Something simple everyone can relate with. An original track and singular remix is sometimes all it takes to define something with true value. This release from Pointech is no exception.
The original Strong Mind lives up to it's name containing a concise algorithm for well defined prog beats with the definite trance edge, known to come from PG records.
The Mikas remix makes it into a nice grooving breaks with a prog trance elements, but creating much deeper drawn symphonic like synths, bringing it out with more concise layering. As long as the breakdowns are ignored, this is the type of track that is a great melodic mixer to be layered on with other deeper darker bass elements to create a deep current dark melodic groove.
Overall this is a concise release containing dedicated prog groove elements and a surprisingly laid back remix from Mikas, making this probably a much overlooked standout release from the label.
