Deerk Hollaender - Roots And Leaves Remixes EP (Proton Music)

Leaving sounds of electro and something…(something between progressive trance, deep house, and house) everywhere he goes Deerk Hollaender has done it again with another great release. His latest release titled “Roots & Leaves Remixes” on Proton Records is a great example of his unique style. With the overall sound of the release incorporating electro, deep house, house and prog trance, Deerk definitely creates a unique sound.

Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy (Paul Keeley Remix) – Has great layered synth loops that have a catchy stick in your head and make you smile sound, overall warm sounding loops. Great structure and fx.

Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy (Royal Sapien Remix) - a long intro gives great possibilities for mixing and layering other tracks with this one. As the song progresses it delivers a techy/electro feel with a punchy bass line that morphs in a reminiscence of the original release with a great correlation of break/house/electro. Great high hats help bring the track to life not that it needs any help. Definitely a different yet note worthy track.

Organized Pleasure (Evan Marc Remix - This track starts off with intriguing beat leading to beautiful fx demonstrating the depth of the track. As it continues you start to encounter great simplistic synth loops with more astonishing fx. This track is a 10 all the way through. Play it and watch people break there neck when the spin around too fast to hear it. Very well put together. I have a new favorite in my collection.

Overall good release. I couldn’t imagine it not being in any good collection. Organized pleasure is without a doubt worth its weight in gold.
