Sportlotto - The Invisible Man (Relax Recordings)
Release Date: March 6th, 2008
Reviewed: 3.5/5
User Rating: 3.5/5

Stanislav Kravchenko finished music school and college in Kyiv with his favorite musical instruments being the saxophone, piano, and bass. By 1997 he had created funk group “vinipuz M.O.B.” and with the turn of the century (200 had crated electronic music project “kiberjazz” which first released “Ce- music” in the Ukraine. In 2007 members of this group went of on solo missions, leaving him to create “Sportlotto” gaining him the unique sound he desired. The latest release “The Invisible Man” on “Relax Recordings” sticks with Sportlotto’s style of electronica / club / house creating a unique and intriguing sound.

The Invisible Man – starting it all off with a basic sound (i.e. bass beat, highs, and a very basic male vocal loop, the original starts to create its own sound before it even starts. This track offers strong FX work (very detailed and precise) and simplistic synth loops as well as a basic male vocal loop through out the song. The synth loops do a switch ‘r roo a few times during the song which does a good job of keeping it fresh.

The Invisible Man (latest edition) – with catchy synth work and vocal loops catching your ear right off the bat the “latest edition” creates a more techy minimalistic sound. Great FX work and structuring make it very mixable. There is a whinny synth loop that just brings the song to life and makes it worth it all. Overall good song definitely a good song to get a floor moving.
