C.O.U. Muzik - Airflow (Source Of Gravity Digital)
Release Date: March 10th, 2008
Reviewed: 4/5

Source Of Gravity Digitals new release of COU Musik is "Airflow" (Original) has this real windtunnel feel about it, the amount of parts written in this is immense and even if only selected in arrangement for a short time it has a well nice blend to it. The synth sound selection is rather interesting too relying more of voices not often used yet played in ways to make them work. This is definite to get varied forms of attention.

The next mix is by Trey Smith and this is a real soundscape intro experience, more breath then wind on this one tho. This is a real expressive mix and two basses battling to achieve supremacy. Tunes like these dont follow they lead and the label looks to push us into a new dawn of dance.

Section 75 Remix takes me back to early rave scene of the UK dance seen, the sweet retro to this one should not be missed and there could be more of this to come. Obviously the production standard is cleaned to the point of even bleep pushing through, so all in all it becomes a whole new sound.

Finally Steve Foulds adds a dance friendly remix but with enough attitude too, this mix in dark and chord wise takes you major to minor all the way through. The beat although straight forward has real power behind it.

The release will not fall under a category of safe, more for pushing dance boundaries outward.
