Dave James - Crazy Pitcher (Corrupted Records)

UK Based Label, Corrupted Records, appears this month again with another masterpiece of minimal techno sound by Dave James’s Crazy Pitcher. This one is Dave`s debut release on Corrupted, after releases on labels like Nuhar and Raw Traxx he has definitely proven his finest sense for producing quality electronic music.

Original Mix is representative of underground tech house style which starts simple, but nicely programmed drums and synth melodies are the main strength of the track, which develops and progresses slowly until the break. The break’s broken beat rhythm is simply unforgettable and real intrigue starts when a reversed cymbal is added, lending a remarkable tech mood to the tune.

Andrea Mocce`s Remix brings a nice little rolling bassline that’s definitely the most notable element. Keep in mind that there are a bunch of hi-hats and percussion in the background following along. No doubt this will be the killer groover track that will conquer every dancefloor.

Mindform’s Remix begins quite dark with a heavy drumbeat and rolling hi-hats, dominating all around. The most characteristic mark on this remix is the large array of effects, present at almost every single part of the theme, surely together with the outstanding sub bass, this will be listening pleasure for every underground sound savvy ear.

In general, 3 solid tracks each one different from the other and having some main individual character in some ways, which will be more than welcome for many a DJ set.
