Michael Badal - Retrospect (Nightshade Music)

Direct from the USA, LA’s Michael Badal combines with one great record label from Chicago, Nightshade Music, to present an excellent progressive story entitled “Retrospect.”

The Retrospect (Original) version has a good combination of progressive bass and rhythm in the recognizable style of Michael’s with crystal pads, bells and a fantastic guitar melody with some piano notes to counterpoint the theme, rich in atmosphere. Martin Villeneuve’s remix is on a similar path as the original, but with saw bass, new drums, claps, and some additional synths on the background.

Kris B v Nosmo drive on Badal’s way, but here with a slightly decreased tempo, using techy beats, and acid bass. The acoustic guitar breakdown reminds one of sunrise at the beach and even sundown in the reversed parts. An amazing combination, this mix takes the cake.
