Brazilian producer Rodrigo Risso brings us some nice sounds in his second release on Next Dimension Music called Impulso EP; two outstanding deep house tracks, followed by an Aeroclube remix, which are high acceptable even for the most sensitive ears, a real pleasure for listening while watching the sunset. This EP is doubtlessly a must have for DJs who’l..

Are you ready for this? This is the brand new release from Outside the Box Music by the duo Yvel & Tristan! The Original Mix of Legacy is a great progressive house track with mainly a happy rhythm that makes you move! The version from Ben Brown is more groovy with a killer bassline! The Davis & May's remix is a minimal approach to t..

After releasing the warped techno single, “Spooky” earlier this month, Homes Art Music label owner Amine Edge is now back again, but with a more positive story titled, “Powerful,” in two dimensions, original mix and dub mix. Powerful Original Mix is reminiscent of some Deadmau5 work, but unlike other tracks where some producers around are trying to emu..

As always, Loopfreaks Black presents us with another great quality release, this time coming from UK’s P.J.C. Project presents CO2, with two powerful progressive/techno themes, Oxygene Parts I and IIOxygene Part I - This is a massive tune really, with strength of feeling like a nuclear bomb for the dancefloor. Kickroach Recodings revisits last year’s Marimba From Hell from Saul B. Dropping darker vibes with interesting experimentation going on in this rollin’ deep techno remix pack. Saul B’s 2008 Dark Mix has added electro elements in dark tones and includes great syncopated clicks and beeps, but at the track’s peak, it feels just a littl..

Proton's reputation in dance has seen changes since those underground net radio days, so as a label growing out from this, it came of no surprise the standard they brought to the table or even our decks. In truth from the radio shows to the label we have seen alot of respected people come from them and so the label continues its legacy. Summer Particles could be just what the..

Another respectable tech house tune from Colombia’s Andrew Chibale, Miracle Worker is quite grooving, possessing a fairly driving bassline, smooth little arpeggios, housey percussion, and some great filtered-out extras for all those little popping noises. Most of the sound selection is tight, but I’m definitely not too keen on the ray-gun type sound efx.

The Russian Project 4mal, aka Anton Guzev & Evgeny Svalov, returns here with these four amazing and emotional stories. With Digital East, 4mal presents an Eastern theme, but with a different take, a "digital" version. The magical melody of this track is usually associated with Eastern culture, but here excellent progressive and driving elements h..

The Love Original Mix has that very interesting deep feeling, almost tribal and intriguing, with some unexpected breaks and interesting congas and percussion drawings. The synth fits very well and is blended with the effects just right. By the 6th minute the sense of monotony comes and additional elements would be desirable. Overall a great production, good sound and a..

Coming in at #1 this week on the MyPromoPool top 20 chart (and only his second release!) is Dirty Disorder’s Ego Trippin / Robotics, out on the relatively new sizzling hot Dutch label, Hot Kitchen. Ego Trippin demonstrates some excellent filter work on the lead synth, opening it up at all the right moments, while at other times filtering off the hi..

As if the original wasn't sick enough, this remix pack is such a wicked follow up to “The Beast,” with four top-notch reworks from Fresh 27 (aka Jack Fresh), Kris Andersen, and JG Project (aka GiranDon). The Fresh 27 Vox Mix puts a fantastic progressive spin on things, with buttery smooth synth work, chuggin’ percussio..

A good melody in dance music is hard to find, but Morphosis Records has been finding them in spades throughout the progressive world and landing them for the label. The debut EP from Solarity is no exception and packs a big room punch, no doubt why it's already been getting play from Ferry Corsten. Proving that the era of good progressive trance is not at all over, "..
