Kickroach Recodings revisits last year’s Marimba From Hell from Saul B. Dropping darker vibes with interesting experimentation going on in this rollin’ deep techno remix pack.

Saul B’s 2008 Dark Mix has added electro elements in dark tones and includes great syncopated clicks and beeps, but at the track’s peak, it feels just a little crowded.

Quebec’s Saillant dispatches a more cautious and subtle approach to the bleeps and tight percussion, here things are mixed nice and smoothly. He’

Proton's reputation in dance has seen changes since those underground net radio days, so as a label growing out from this, it came of no surprise the standard they brought to the table or even our decks. In truth from the radio shows to the label we have seen alot of respected people come from them and so the label continues its legacy. Summer Particles could be just what they need for mainstream success. In fact, respected UK labels might need to watch out. This should translate well across to the dancefloor, but this could capture the minds o

One of the most innovative labels in Italy, officially started in 2001 but established in 1989, is one of the few that creates an international music networking. Founder and manager of Young NRG Stefano Ricci (aka Dj Stex), together with Teo Ederle, founder of Lao-tsu Productions, created their own personal and quite uncommon soundstyle since '89, when they started producing as the first acid jazz scene emerge. Keeping their hip-jazz roots until '99, when they start their first project Dasya, something in between electroclash and jungle, they d

Another respectable tech house tune from Colombia’s Andrew Chibale, Miracle Worker is quite grooving, possessing a fairly driving bassline, smooth little arpeggios, housey percussion, and some great filtered-out extras for all those little popping noises. Most of the sound selection is tight, but I’m definitely not too keen on the ray-gun type sound efx.

Wooden Canoe has more of a deep house touch with its organ chords putting down a straightforward little melody overlain by a smooth dubby lead, while the teched-up

In 2005 the idea of M:touch Records already began making its way through the heads of two Italians DJs. It would take two years of preparations and collaborations with other labels before everything would be ready. By the end of 2007, Italian independent dance music label, M:touch Records, was born. This young label has many purposes, and it aspires to obtain a space among other dance labels. But certainly its most important goal of all is to discover new sounds and new talents in electronic music, to give them the highest visibility.

The Russian Project 4mal, aka Anton Guzev & Evgeny Svalov, returns here with these four amazing and emotional stories.

With Digital East, 4mal presents an Eastern theme, but with a different take, a "digital" version. The magical melody of this track is usually associated with Eastern culture, but here excellent progressive and driving elements have been added to the story.

Sliding at Jagst is more of a gentle tune with a nice soft feeling, reminding me of the cleanliness of nature with green and ye

The Love Original Mix has that very interesting deep feeling, almost tribal and intriguing, with some unexpected breaks and interesting congas and percussion drawings. The synth fits very well and is blended with the effects just right. By the 6th minute the sense of monotony comes and additional elements would be desirable. Overall a great production, good sound and atmosphere.

Rob Regan's Remix has added deep down bass and 70's background synths, which gave this track a bit of a different direction. I felt that the brea

Coming in at #1 this week on the MyPromoPool top 20 chart (and only his second release!) is Dirty Disorder’s Ego Trippin / Robotics, out on the relatively new sizzling hot Dutch label, Hot Kitchen. Ego Trippin demonstrates some excellent filter work on the lead synth, opening it up at all the right moments, while at other times filtering off the high end, keeping the synth more subdued in the mix. Drawing its energy from a driving tech house percussion and techno bass combo, with an almost progressive type synth laye
